I am a graduate of the journalism program at Ball State University (chirp chirp) and also have a master’s degree in urban and intercultural religious studies. My reporting has won awards from the American Academy of Religion, the Catholic Press Association, the Religion News Association, and the Great Plains Journalism Awards.
